Signing out of Google is extremely important if you use public computers. Even more important is knowing how to perform Gmail sign out. GMAIL SIGN OUT TO SECURE YOUR ACCOUNT
Open up your internet browser and go to mail.google.com. You will probably be already logged in if you do not know how to log out, yet. So opening gmail.com will directly take you to your inbox.
On the upper right corner of the main page, you will see your profile picture if you have uploaded one. If you haven’t, you will be able to see the first letter of your first name in a circle – click on it.
You will then see all of your basic profile information and also all the other accounts you are currently logged into through Gmail. Whichever account you want to log out of, select it.
After clicking on it, you will see the option of “sign out”. Click on this option and you will be logged out of your account.
GMAIL SIGN OUT INFORMATION
Once you have been logged out of the account, you will be directed to the gmail login screen. You will see a list of all the accounts you have saved on your computer or mobile device. Below the accounts you will see two options, “Add Account” and “Remove”. Select “remove” and you will see a cross appear next to all the accounts. Click on the cross for whichever account you want to log out of.
